How much has been allocated
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural subsidies for 2026 totalKZT 588.3 billion. Of this, KZT 180.1 billion goes to crop production and KZT 249 billion to financial instruments. At the start of 2026, arrears on subsidies from previous years stood at KZT 391.7 billion. By 1 June they had been cut to KZT 241.2 billion, so approved applications often wait for payment on a waiting list.
